Merrell District 4 Luxe Sandal

I love the way these sandals fit, except... tooo wide for my wide feet. I usually cannot say that but it was a near miss buying these. I did wear them for a walk outdoors in the wonderful heat we're all having and I think if it was a longer walk, I may have gotten blisters. A bit disappointing because mostly, my Merrells are the best!

I have had mine a couple of months. I've never worn casual sandals with a back strap before now. I feel much more secure walking on unlevel or rough ground. My husband was so happy I bought these, he insisted that I buy another pair.

I have a very arthritic ankle and could walk in these for several hours without pain!! Fit is a little wide in the ball of foot area so great for bunions too.

One of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I needed a pair I could wear everyday, all day. These fill that bill 1000%!! I have literally worn them everyday since I got them about a month ago. My feet do not hurt at all. Easy to slip on and off. I would like to see them in a creamy light tan.

I love these sandals. They are so comfortable and attractive. I have a high arch and these work great. Highly recommend!

I love the look of these shoes, especially the brown colored foot bed and cream colored sole. The only problem I have with them is the adjustable strap could be tighter on my foot. I still have been able to wear them comfortably and have walked quite a bit in them but wish they were a little more snug on my foot.

Doesn’t fit the same as most - I am always a size 7 - and I have a high arch - in this shoe it was significantly too big for me across the arch.

The design of the top part is attractive as expected for Merrill. What’s with the clunky bottoms? Merrill used to have consistently attractive shoes, but now they are looking like the same giant clown shoes you can get from less premium brands. I like a little bit more bottom than a barefoot style, but I don’t want to feel like it’s the 1970s or I’m a clown. The heel shape on this shoe is also hilariously wide. Few women, if any, have a regular forefoot with an extra wide heel. Shoe width should be consistent, either narrow, regular, or wide to choose the best fit. I can barely walk in these because it’s hard to stabilize my regular width foot in an extra wide heel. There’s also too much looseness at the top unless you have a thick foot. Please consider adjustable features that aren’t merely ornamental.
