Antora 4 is great for me
Angora 4 is as perfect as all my older versions. I have very narrow feet and finding walking/hiking shoes that stay on my feet is difficult. Angora have been the best for me for years.

Solid everyday Shoe

My first wear was for 10 miles. I loved the level of support- there's enough midsole cushion to provide a little bounce without propulsion and helped my notorious weak ankles feel stable. Very comfortable throughout the day.

Merrell, please listen

I've been wearing Antoras since you first brought them out. The first version was the best... the second was still pretty good... seems like every go-round has made things worse, with the most recent changes being a serious problem for quite a few of your customers. The soles wore better on the earlier versions, the toe box has gotten too narrow, and the color selection - especially for those of us with wide feet - has become awful (nothing but black and off-white, really???). Please fix these things for your next version of Antora! I can't find anything I like nearly as well as my Antora 1s and 2s, most of which are still going strong.

SAD THEY CHANGED
I've been a big fan of the Antora 3's wide. I actually bought 4 pairs and have since worn them out. The Antora 4's shoe last changed. I bought a pair of 4 wides and they hurt my feet like no tomorrow, they also only come in white and light lavender, who makes a trail running shoe in these colors? Antora 3's came in great patterns and the wide shoe was actually wide. Really bummed Merrell changed things up, I'll be moving on to something different, boo!

Disappointed trail runner
If you didn't wear the previous models and the 4s suit your foot shape, they may be great for you. They're not for me. I'm a tail runner and LOVE my Antora 3s. I tried So. Many. Trail shoes and the 3s were perfect the moment I slipped them on. I run ultras and have never had a blister in my 3s. I was a bit concerned but optimistic when they moved to the 4s. Same model, right? No. Completely different shoe in almost every way. New sole, material, shape, etc. I am so disappointed. They might be a little lighter but at the cost of resilience. The 4s feel comparatively cheap and are not nearly as durable. The lugs are shallower and the sole just doesn't have the grip anymore. If you're running trail and liked previous antora models, it's definitely a downgrade.
I am buying every reasonably-priced Antora 3 in my size that I find. I do have a pair of 4s and use them for shorter runs. They're fine or whatever. But I will definitely be looking for something new while I carefully budget my miles in the 3s I have squirreled away and tear through the much less resilient 4s.

Not as good as they used to be

Not happy with the changes you have made to the Antora line. Sometimes improved is not better. Also your choice of colors has changed for the worst. You used to have some really funky colors - pink leopard, rainbow, flowers, etc. Yours options are just boring!

Disney approved!
I bought these after a long search trying different types of shoes to find the right fit for an upcoming Disney trip. These shoes did not disappoint! They provided great support for walking around Disney and I have found that I enjoy using them in daily life as well for walking and every day tasks. I like the tie dye color too - it adds an understated personality.
