Surprising comfort
I was nervous about buying these boots at first. I wondered: would the wide calf fit me? Were they going to be a decent quality at this price point? Both answers were yes! Initially, they felt too tight just below my knee, but they loosened up quickly and are soo comfortable. The heel height is just right and the "wide calf" fits me well (I'm 5'9", 250 lbs).

Nice looking but not for all day wear
The boots look great and fit well. The fabric isn’t as leather-look as you’d expect. The sole is ok but not really comfortable.

OK Boots
I have a pair of LifeStride boots in black I bought at DSW last winter and thought I'd try this style in brown. Even though I ordered them in the same size (which is 1/2 size bigger than normal) they were too small even with thin socks. I also wasn't crazy about the shade of brown.

Good
Though the description says calf is normal width and not wide, feels wide. These boots look very comfy - I haven’t tried it but I like this brand for comfort

weird fuzzy patch
In general, the boot was okay, but it has this weird patch of carpet-like material on the upper back of the leg part that was just ugly. It came with a bunch of fuzz and lint already attached on it that showed what would happen if you actually wore it.

Great, would recommend!
They are exactly what as described. Ordered the brown ones in accordance to the sizing chart for width of the feet and calves. I wore them around 6 hours standing up mostly and I can confidently say they are comfortable! I would say after 5 or so hours the bottom of my feet did start getting a little tired but I think that's with any shoe when you aren't moving a lot.

These are not a wide calf boot for people with wide calves. These are for people with normal calves who want to wear with thicker jeans or something.

Awful insole
The insoles are very thin where you feel the stitching. After 30 minutes they are uncomfortable. I bought inserts because I really like the boots, but now the boot is too tight around my foot. Hoping they will stretch, but not sure they will.

Perfect Width.
Not real leather but such a great boot. I needed a wide width but sometimes the boot shaft is too wide, gapping at the top. This boot is so comfortable and fits great. I do have wider, athletic calves but there is just the right width. Recommend highly.

TALL boot!
really liked these boots but they are very tall--like if I tried to bend my leg it cut me behind the knee! SOO cute though, and fit well. Hope you have longish legs! I don't.
