I believe that DSW sells returned & display items
The shoes are nice and comfortable enough, although the elastic bands make them look cheap. My issue is with the way DSW runs their business. This is the second pair of shoes that I got from DSW, and both pairs showed signs of being worn before. In this case, the bottom of the shoes looked clean, but the elastic band of the right shoe was stretched to such an extent that it couldn't possibly fit a size 6.5M foot anymore. Clearly, this was the shoe on display at some store that many people tried on before. Considering the fact that my first pair of shoes from DSW looked worn at the bottom, I will not be a returning customer. There's nothing wrong with buying a pair of shoes that were on display if they fit you. But, when you shop online at a store where you expect to find brand new items, you expect those items to arrive fresh out of the box and never been worn before. If I wanted to buy used shoes, I'd go elsewhere, and get them for much, much cheaper than the prices I see on DSW.

Dressy comfort
Bought for a wedding. Can’t wear most heels and have issues with a small bunion. Wore these all night, including walking through a parking garage, with no issues. Finally have dressy shoes that don’t hurt!
