Gorgeous & Comfy
Gorgeous boots! I've anxiously awaited delivery of these boots because I was concerned about the fit. I have slightly wider than "average" feet so sizing can be a challenge. I'm generally a 9 but will occasionally go to a 9.5 if I know a brand runs a bit narrow (which I had heard L'Artiste can run a bit narrow). I opted to stick with 9 (Euro 40) as that's what I wear in Birkenstocks and length wise they can be a tiny bit long. I'm glad I didn't order the larger size as these fit perfectly. I don't think I'll be able to get heavy socks on in these but that's okay. If that's important to you, maybe size up but otherwise I think these wear true to size. If your feet are truly "wide" these may not work for you but if you're like me and just a bit wider than average, give these a try, they will likely surprise you. I struggled to decide between the camel and olive green, ultimately ordering the olive green and I'm glad I did, they're gorgeous in person. These boots are supportive but don't feel as though they're going to need a significant breaking-in period.
