The style of these sandals is absolutely adorable—I loved the look right out of the box and got so many compliments when I first wore them. They’re stylish, comfortable for short periods, and seem like a great premium option at first glance.
Unfortunately, the execution falls flat with the adjustable straps. For such an expensive pair of sandals, I was shocked they went with basic Velcro fasteners. The Velcro loses its grip very quickly and doesn’t hold up to regular use. By my 5th wear, the straps were coming loose constantly, making the sandals unwearable and even a little embarrassing in public.
It’s such a waste of money when the one functional part that needs to stay secure fails so fast. I really wanted to love these, but the poor quality of the Velcro straps ruined them. Would not recommend unless you’re okay replacing them after minimal use.

Buyer beware
Bought these a year ago and wore them about 5 times; soles are still pretty clean! Pulled them out last night to wear and 5 minutes in, the strap broke off. These were not inexpensive and comments seem to confirm poor quality. I won't buy this brand again even if they are cute.

The Sole Cracked
I love this cute and comfortable shoe and have received many compliments on them but I’m sorry to say the soles have cracked through. I bought a 2nd pair and the same thing happened again- cracked straight across the bottom of the instep. This flaw is disappointing for such an expensive shoe.

Fell apart
So cute. But. The second time I wore them they fell apart. I can't wear them. Literally fell apart. So disappointed. And they were expensive.

SO disappointing
I LOVED these sandals! They were so cute and comfortable. But within months, the sole cracked straight through in several spots. I've never had a pair of shoes do that. Sure don't expect to spend over $100 for sandals and have them fall apart with light wear.

Favorite comfortable shoe
I got these shoes a few years ago, and at first, I didn’t think I’d like them as much — but they ended up becoming my absolute favorite. They’ve lasted me for years and still look amazing. The leather is incredibly soft and just molds perfectly to your feet. They’re super lightweight, and I get compliments every single time I wear them!

I just received my new L'Artist Laga Platform Shoes in White. They are even more beautiful than in the picture. I can't wait to wear them outside. Ive been wearing them at home all day and they are very comfortable. I have bunions and these sandals hide them. They are true to size

Comfortable and Cute

Poor quality
These will fall apart. Don't buy them and L'Artiste won't stand behind them. Mine broke within a year and I didn't have receipt. They offered me at 15% discount to buy a new pair. For $120 that is ridiculous!

Sandal
I bought these sandals last year and they are my all time favorite! Every time I wear them I get complimented. Did I have problems with the straps? Yes! I have had mine repaired twice as well. Will I wear them until they can’t be fixed? Also yes and then I’ll buy another pair! I love L’Artiste shoes.

Pretty to look at but poorly constructed!
Bought these beautiful LOOKING sandals last year. They are extremely poorly constructed for a fairly expensive item! My husband has had to glue the straps back underneath the footbed of the sandal multiple times already. I now cannot even wear them because they let go at any time! Extremely disappointed!

BUYERS BE AWARE - Straps Broke
Unique, beautiful, comfortable. But one strap broke a month later. Had it repaired. Broke again. All straps keep breaking. They are glued not sewed. Extremely disappointed for the price I paid I expected better quality.

My go to comfort shoe!
I have had these shoes for awhile and enjoyed wearing them immensely! Comfortable is without a doubt the outstanding feature, but versatile is at the top of my list, too! The color is prefect for year round here in FL!
