Comfortable overall. The ankle elastic fits me pretty well, but I have fairly small ankles, so might be harder to get on and off if you have bigger ankles.

Sorry that I have to disagree with the majority as for me they were not comfortable. ( Should have returned,but, I had put aside to try finding different pads to put in to help).Front part of shoe is cut too low making them uncomfortable as the wedge puts more pressure on foot and foot budges out then.Disappointing as they are cute, especially with sundresses.
