I love the brand, but this was a rare miss

Kelly and Katie ballet flats are usually comfortable, affordable, and TTS. For the positives, this shoe is cute and has nice padding and support. But there are several negatives. The first and obvious one is the delicate nature and practicality of the shoe. I was imagining how easy it would be to snag or lose some embellishments, and then the shoe wouldn't look nice with missing parts of a pattern. The outer sides of the shoe (the mesh embellished areas) were a bit stiff and not as comfortable as expected. The worst offender was the vertical strip of leather going up the back of the heel - specifically where the top of that strip met the skin of my ankle. I knew immediately upon putting these on that that friction point would create terrible blisters in no time, and it's due to the way that vertical strip lays against the skin. Now possibly I could wear mole skin under that spot, but due to the shoe's other defects it's going back.
No, I do not recommend this product.
