Excellent quality

I am a senior citizen and have narrow feet. The Newporter has always fit very well and provides continuous arch support. The original Newporter is a top level sandal.

Collar too tight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The elasrtic around the collar of the sandal is too tight. I had to fight with the elastic to get my foot into the sandal. There has to be a better desighn that would allow the wearer to get there foot into the sandal.

Great sandals

My husband loves these sandals and wants another pair. We were at the store and saw the special interactive machine for measuring your foot and evaluating pressure points. The results page included this as a suggestion so he tried them on and loved them. Comfortable and durable! This is the Newport style and he wore them in Newport -- it was meant to be!

Same shoe, new year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought this shoe every year or two for 10 years. I wear them almost everyday and they last. Most comfortable shoe I've ever had. I hope keen never stops selling them.

Diminishing quality

This is my fourth pair of Keen shoes. While I haven't had these very long, it is clear that while comfortable to wear, the quality is lower than previous pairs.

I have worn the Newport Leather year round since they began selling them. I have owned probably 20 pair. They usually last about a year. They always come apart in the same place, where the back strap meets the heel. I always have a second pair ready knowing this is going to happen. My last pair lasted way less time than expected. I do like the shoe so I keep buying them. Also they are available in large sizes which are hard to find in other shoes

My "go to" shoes from dawn-to-dusk!

I am on my (3rd) spring/summer season with these KEEN Newport Leather Sandals & just finished cleaning/conditioning the leather. I also took a lighter & burned all the frays, just to give my sandals a more clean appearance.
I wear my KEEN's for everyday wear & although I do wear other type shoes depending on occasion, I have found that my KEEN Newport sandals take me to more places/events during the spring/summer season's than any other pair of shoes I own!
