Really want to love them, but my feet hurts

The double decker wave pailette slip-on sneakers are cute, good quality, and true to size. However, the top fabric is very tight and presses on the top of my feet, and the back of the shoes rub against the back of my feet. So, the top and back of my feet hurt wearing these, and I had to return them, though I really wanted to like them because my other KED's shoes do not hurt my feet like that.
