I measured my calf before ordering so I could make the correct choice between wide or extra wide calf. Based on the measurements, extra wide is what I needed, so I ordered them. I was so excited to get these boots, and lo and behold I probably should’ve ordered the wide calf. They still fit, just a bit looser than I’d like around my leg. Not to mention, you can see the tan-colored inner lining at the top of the boots… while wearing them! I was standing in front of the mirror and was able to see a sliver of tan at the very top of the boot. There’s no way to camouflage this. Also, for the price they have set, I expected to get a boot that felt a bit more sturdy. The material is flimsy, so I feel like they’re overpriced by at least $30. I will be returning these.

First, I love this boot. It’s gorgeous for winter dresses and skirts. But although I need the wider calf, the foot itself was huge in my regular size and I was sliding all over. They didn’t have the size I wanted to try so I was out of luck.
