Journee Louella Sandal

I bought these to wear as a bridesmaid for a wedding after seeing so many good reviews, and I’m struggling to understand why people love them. They’re an attractive shoe, but that was the only positive for me. They are hands down THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE shoe I have ever worn and I do wear heels somewhat regularly. They are very narrow and the straps around the toes are really tight, even though I went up a half size. For some reason the angle of the arch and the smoothness of the material made my foot slide forward too much, even with the tightest settings on everything; unfortunately the pressure/weight it put primarily on the top half of my foot was borderline unbearable after maybe 20 minutes and I had to apply numbing spray the entire night just to make it tolerable… it totally took away from my enjoyment because of it. My arches and toes were completely numb the following day. I guess maybe it’s just me and my foot shape but I really wish I knew this shoe wasn’t for everyone. Seems like most people have no issues but I would suggest trying them for a short period to be sure you’re not in the unfortunate minority that will hate these. Wanted to love them!

I’ve been wanting some open toed Orange heels and I’m so happy I came across these. I’ve worn them once a for Mother’s Day and they were very comfortable!

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a high heel sandal I could dress up or down. I wore these to a wedding where I was able to do some dancing with no issues. They are pretty comfortable. I’m glad I made this purchase

These shoes were exactly as pictured. They looked well made & sturdy BUT I could barely get my foot into them. They were the correct size but the straps across the toes were just too tight. I had foot fat squeezing between each strap. And I wouldn’t say I have a particularly large foot, though my foot is a bit wide. Also, I have normal arches (not flat/not overly high) so it’s just the shoe.

Bought these for a night out and they worked perfect for my outfit and held up all night without my feet killing me. Great shoes.

I love the shades of colors this shoe comes in, and I bought the orange in a 10 (my true size) and needed to size up to an 11 (which I rarely need to do although I have long toes). Sometimes sqare-toed shoes can be a bit questionable for me, as was the case with these. To me they don't run small, just a little short. I really liked that this was a true orange vs. more of a red-orange. They were very comfortable, albeit I did not wear mine out. I bought this style and different shoe to compare looks/colors/comfort. While I liked the color and the comfort of this one a little better of the two, I more liked the style of the other strappy stiletto in my foot that I compared it to. For me, the angle of both sets of foot straps looked different front ways when looking at them both in a mirror while on my feet. So after some debating, I did return this pair (both sizes). I think it simply comes down to preference, but still not a bad shoe...
