I expected better

I was looking forward to these boots and thought Frye meant they’d be high quality. They look nice but are stiff and hard to break in, but worse, they are lined in cheap synthetic material that doesn’t breathe. I would expect better for the brand and price.

Perfect Mid-calf Boots!

I have been looking for a casual mid-calf brown boot in size 11 for awhile. I finally found these and like almost every pair of footwear I’ve bought from DSW they fit great!! Comfortable for all day. My foot is rather large so a 10D fits as well but this wasn’t available in that size.

Fits Like A Glove!

I ordered these in a size 11 and they arrived within days. They fit perfectly and I have wide feet and will order wide whenever I can but these did not have a wide. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong color and had to return them and the brown I wanted was sold out.

Not Leather

First they are nice looking boots. But they are not leather uppers. Right inside the boot it says “made with 100% man made materials”. Leather is made by animals. Plastic or rubber boots have their uses but I thought I was getting leather uppers which have a distinctively different look and wear. I don’t like shoes where the color disappears with a scuff. There is no such thing as man made leather. That is called vinyl, or fabric or something else.
