Look too clunky and orthopedic

I bought these online, and while they were very lightweight and I liked the slip-on convenience, they appear large and clunky. I have a small foot and these make my feet look like bricks. They look orthopedic and frankly, for a comfort shoe, the underside of the tongue where it hit the top of the foot on the edges was rubbing. Returning.
