Easy Street Elegance Pump

I have purchased three pairs of rhis shield- black suede, gold, and the blue. I bought the black ones first. I was amazed at the comfort of them when I wore them to a wedding - first time wearing them. Easy to stand, walk, or dance in them. Friends commented how great they looked - just from the pictures if me wearing them. They definitely are great shoes and makes a girl feel a little sassy in them.

I recently purchased these Easy Street pumps for a special occasion. They are the right height of heel for me and I thought that they were well designed/styled for a rather inexpensive dress shoes. The only difficulty that I have with them is that like many cheaply manufactured shoes that one finds at big discount retailers, they come with a very strong chemical smell. I don’t know if it is in the synthetic material used to manufacture the shoe or if it is some unpleasant and possibly toxic chemical sprayed on the shoes to keep them bug and mold free during the shipping process. It’s too bad that such things are necessary. And of course, there is never any mention of such things accompanying the shoes nor any warnings.
