These are like my other Clark shoes only less expensive. I did order a half size up as they were snug in my normal size. Overall I like them and they are good value. DSW has been sending me dirty floor samples several times this year so I appreciated these were new out of the box.

Too small even in wide

I normally wear size 7.5-8, so I ordered an 8 wide thinking that I could wear at least a medium weight sock with it. Unfortunately, these shoes are NOT true to size! The Eastland Piper Slip-on was too short and narrow, even in wide. My toes were touching the toe of the shoe and the shoes squeezed my foot even with light weight socks. I'm disappointed because I really like the look of the shoe and it seems well-made.

I usually go with Clarks brand (and haven't gone wrong yet there). I thought I'd try these since I didn't find many Clarks styles in a wide width. I'm more than pleased. They look like Clarks, feel like Clarks and seem to be just as well made.
