It’s lightweight, simple, classic, and true to size. But the black one is not peddle leather (as misled by the picture) but smooth leather, which still works for me so keep it.

I have been wearing sneakers for years because they were the only shoe that really supported my feet properly after several surgeries. I finally decided I needed to find an oxford that appeared more stylist with pants but offered the same support. This shoe did that. So much so that I ordered the brown pair.

Lovely shoes comfortable fit. However, the same thoughtfulness did NOT go into the soles very slippery failed to be a good shoe for walking or site seeing.

I gave this item a 3 star because I bought it for mom and she is a 6.5 but in this particular brand she needed a half size bigger at least 7.0
