Beautiful Boot But Painful

I recently purchased these boots and I still haven’t decided if I’m going to be able to break them in properly. I have narrow regular feet and the boot is very tight on the top of the foot. I’ve never experienced anything like it before and I don’t know if breaking them in will actually work. I want to keep them so bad, but I don’t know if the pain is worth it!

Beauty Meets Practical

I love these boots! They’re not only beautiful, but comfortable and practical. I needed something to replace my old docs that were over 25 years old and abused. The only sad thing was I had to return these and buy them elsewhere because I bought my usual size 10s and they were a little large. I didn’t think to take into account the weight I lost.

Fits tight/small but they are very cute

WAHHHHH! I love these Dr Martens so much! The roses are so cute, but the leather looks like plastic and the front of the boots fit so tight, which is odd because I have skinny feet! Underneath the top portion of the laces has a piece of the leather that sticks out, and it rubs against my foot. I read that this is common with Dr Martens boots and that they often need to be broken in or even "stretched". Some even remove the sole to make space for their foot so that the inner leather piece doesn't rub against their feet, but I don't know if any boot is worth that much effort. I am still deciding if I want to keep or return these. *Sigh* Too bad Dr Martens don't make half sizes.

So Sad These Didnt Work

Theses boots are so much better in person! Unfortunately the 8 which my normal shoe size were rubbing uncomfortably on my heel and the top of my foot. They don’t do half sizes and a nine would be too big. Im still considering it though since these boots are FIRE.

These particular Doc Martens are so well made. The leather is high quality and they are very comfortable. The embroidery is beautiful, too. Love, love them! Fit true-to-size for me.
