tassels stick up, blue color is very bright.
I was looking for a dressier loafer style shoe and liked the style of the Powel loafer so I bought it in black and blue. The black left shoe fit great but the right shoe had a seam that pushed on the big toe making it slightly more uncomfortable than the left. The navy blue pair fit great on both feet, but was actually more of an electric blue/purple..too bright and neon-like for me. Both pairs had a tassle that when the wrap tying both tassles was removed caused the tassels to stick upward vertically. I was unable to adjust the cow-hitch knot so the tassles would lie flat on the shoe. These were just not right for me. I had to send both pairs back.
