Brought shoes with the expectation soles would be good arch support, but wasn’t sole very heavy to lift per each step in walking

Comfy -- but needs a punch!

Very comfortable. When I tried them on, some of the sizing holes didn't go all the way through, but someone in the store grabbed something thin and sharp to poke all the way through. So make sure all the holes are open before you leave the store. Otherwise I guess you can do it on your own.
