Socks may cause some binding marks

I purchased the Crown Vintage Ribbed Men's Crew Socks - 4 Pack in Color Grey for my husband who has average sized ankles and wears a 9 Wide shoe size. He said the socks were comfortable and didn't make him itch or sweat. The socks are made of 65% Repreve, 28% polyester, 5% rubber and 2% spandex. However, after a whole day's wear, he had some marks above the ankle. He would have preferred a less snug binding on the socks. Overall, these are good socks if you don't mind some binding marks at the end of the day.
