comfortable and warm
I wanted a tall boot that wouldn't let snow get inside to my feet and legs. These boots are also very comfortable and warm.

Form fitting
Fits like a glove. So much easier to walk in deep snow. Need 1/2 size bigger.

Warm and comfortable
These Columbia boots are very warm and comfortable. Would be nice to have the waterproof material a little higher and over toes. Not made to be deep in snow for a long time. Wore them with thick wool socks in bitter cold shoveling snow for over an hour, but made sure I kept knocking snow off them. True to size and plenty of room for warm socks.

Rough, Not true to size, not flexible, blisters
I wouldn't even give this one star, given the option. Previously, I had 4 pairs of Minx III throghtyout the years. They were soft, lightweight, nice colors, good material, and comfortable. I ordered this new "Upgraded Minx IV. It is rough, heavy. the lower back of the boots is made of such a hard material that does not bend when walking. It peeled off the skin of the back of my feet at the connection between the hard lower back and the softer calf/leg material. I tried 2 pairs of thick socks and it did not help. The shoe is not in coherent with the foot/leg movement. Size is also off. Good luck finding the correct size. They also charged me a return fee for the defective product. Columbia doesn't care about quality and customer service anymore. I wish that my concerns as a loyal customer would have been taken into consideration. I called the custmer service to explaine the issue and to find a solution for exchange. The customer service was very unpleasant. He didn't sound happy working for Columbia. He did not help me nor did he pass my concerns along for better future design. Simply hung up on me. Wasted time and money. Very displeased with this product and their lack of customer service.

Whew, Blisters!!
I tried these on in store and they seemed fine. Went up a half size as others have said. The blisters from the reinforced stiff ankle supports gave me horrible painful blisters. I’m so sad but they’re going back IMMEDIATELY.
