Nice-looking but short strings
I gulped when I bought these -- I generally go for less expensive shoes, but I vowed to go for real leather this time. I REALLY needed these, because I wear boots as a costumed speaker, and my prior two pairs (not bought from DSW) both cracked in the faux leather. That's why I went with real leather this time. They look GREAT and seem comfortable so far. I haven't gotten to wear them yet in a presentation, but they look good. The only drawback is that the shoestrings were too short to tie comfortably. I decided to replace them with much longer shoestrings.
