Someone permanently borrowed my expensive leather black boots and need to have a pair, esp leather. Surprised these are clarks- just seem like a kick off brand as not as well made looking. Regularly a 7-7.5, but reviews said order up so got an 8. They fit fine. The black is a bit muted and yes the toe is slightly shiny but many boots have this and is pretty subtle. The calf area is fitted but fine- my calves are on the thinner side. They are plain! Seem comfortable, but if you’re looking for a statement other than these are just to have a pair of functional leather boots, best to keep looking. I’m 5.5” and the top rim of the boot hits my knee crease, so may be a rubbing problem if not wearing tights or leggings. Not sure if I’ll keep them. Decent boot.

Great Boots!
Really comfortable and broke them in pretty easily. I love the buckles on the top near the calf, makes the width adjustable. Very stylish and cute too, happy with this purchase!

Nice but black is dark grey
These are a snug fit which I prefer to swimming in clunky boots and definitely have some good cushioning. Comfortable. Disappointed they are not really black - more like a charcoal grey - so they don’t look dressy.

The pictures and description did not disclose that the shaft is not 100% leather. There is another elastic fabric insert that I did not like, returned them.

Bought these boots during the sale, delivered to my house with imperfections. I didn’t feel like they were worth what I paid for them, ended up returning them.

Almost
So close to keeping them, if only the calf fit. I sized up based on other reviews & would recommend the same. The foot and ankle fit well, they were very comfortable, and the color is beautiful. The problem is the calf sizing - I do not normally wear a wide calf, but I could barely get these to zip up. I did manage to get them to zip, but it was such an ordeal and they were so tight that I knew it wasn't worth keeping them. Sadly, they were returned and the quest for boots continues.

Comfortable But Odd Color
These boots are incredibly comfortable, but be aware that the calf is very snug on the regular sizing. Also, when I purchased them, the toe is shiny, but the rest of the boot was a matte black. Which was very odd. I had to get them professionally polished when I purchased them.

Nice Color Horrid Fit
Wide width standard calf seems to be incorrect to me. Painfully tight on my foot, hilariously huge on my calf. Like twice the size of my calf. Nice color, nice looking—as long as it’s not on me.

Recommend if can’t do heel
Got this boot and I couldn’t be happier, after breaking them in they fit perfect and have a good fit around the calf. Very comfortable to cover some miles in

Leather boot at a good price
Was looking for a leather boot as synthetic always quickly show wear. This black boot was just what I was looking for! Soft leather not super stiff but holds its shape. Color isn’t bold but definitely black. I am a size 10 and if I sized up would have to jump a whole size so I simply wear a thinner sock and they are comfortable and definitely walkable.

Love these Boots
I bought these in the tan color. I liked the soft black ones as well and I’m considering getting those in addition. I normally wear a size 8, and I did size up to an 8 1/2. I have worn these a couple of days for over 10 hours each day and they were super comfortable. I love that these boots are real leather as so many are made from synthetic materials these days. I would definitely recommend if you are in need of a tall boots.

Great Boot!
These are black, not gray, they are a soft black, many versions of black just like there is with gray’s. I always in tall boots order a size up which I did with these, bought a 9.5, my reg size is 9, and they fit perfect. They are very comfortable and hold up very well

Don’t Purchase!!!
This boot is gray not black!
Also the material on the top is very cheap, insole looks comfy but i will definitely return it.
I didn’t purchase gray boot, the advertising is completely wrong! This picture is not belonging to that boot!

Cute But Runs Small
I love the look, quality, and they are comfortable but they run small. I normallly buy size 11 in boots because you use them with thicker socks so when I tried them it hurts on the heel and on side of the toes.
