Sophisticated and Feminine

This is a beautiful shoe. When the first arrived, they were packed well to protect the fabric and the rose type embellishment. I read on another post that she steamed the ‘rose’ to make the sides fall and hide the glue. Without knowing I could do that, I would have returned these! The heel is higher than I prefer, however the red wine color is gorgeous and matched my accessories perfectly. I sized down a 1/2 size for a more snug fit.

Feminine and Flirty!

Bought these to match my Kentucky Derby Fascinator - Perfect Match!! The heel is higher than I normally wear, so I can’t walk with my usual grace, but I’ll manage. For me, I needed to go down 1/2 size because it was too loose. The chiffon flower on top is what makes the shoe special; be prepared to steam it to lay down. The packing is substantial to keep these shoes in perfect shape, which prevented the flower from spreading out. I love the look so much, I’m ordering the ivory one, too!

Thankfully the state of the box was no indication. No damage to this lovely shoe. 8.5M is my standard size and these fit perfectly. Expect it will take some time for the petals to open , flatten out some, otherwise the glue is visible from the side. Not from the top however. Shoe feels quite comfortable and stable when standing. Wider heel base helps with stability. Great with wide leg dress pants, ankle length, or flow ankle length skirts. You want these babies to be seen!!

Purchased at the last minute to wear to a holiday party, and what a great purchase!! They are so stinking cute, and I received SO MANY compliments. From party goers, event staff, strangers in hotel afterwards. They are truly an attention getter. Not the most comfortable shoes for walking or standing for long periods of time, but I was on my feet from 4pm to after midnight and only slipped them off a few times. I would absolutely buy them again.

Elegant and Stylish and Reasonably Comfortable Too

I purchased a pair of these Charles David “Karie” sandals just to wear for a special at home Valentine Day occasion. They are very pretty shoes and relatively comfortable being that I seldom wear high heeled shoes. But being that these are slip on and not confining to the foot, they work very well for people like me with sensitive feet. The shoes are well made and very stylishly designed. I would have loved them even more if they had come with slightly lower heels, but as they are, these sandals/shoes are very elegant and quite wearable.
