Carhartt Wellington Wedge Work Boot - Women's

The toe box is slightly narrower than I had hoped. Thin socks make it fit ok. But, my heel slips as I walk which feels annoying. The aren't the most comfortable boots I've owned. I hope this changes as I break them in, but also breaking in new boots shouldn't be this uncomfortable.

Great looking boots! Sole is tough; nothing is going to poke through. Leather is tough and I LOVE the white sole (I am not a black shoe or black sole person). I barely put them on for the first time today, so this may be remedied with time, but I have one complaint at the onset. As for overall sizing, these have an accurate and expected fit, but the snugness over the bridge of the foot is SO TIGHT that it hurts a lot. As a result, I am currently squirming and eager to take them off after only two hours of wear. Given the bridge may stretch out as I wear these, I won't doc the rating. This is really a notable for others to consider. Had I sized up it might have been better on the bridge side, but then the boots would have been too big overall.

The most comfortable boot I've ever owned! Love the wedge, no back pain. Keeps feet dry & warm on cold days but cool on hot days.

These boots are fantastic! Very comfortable, durable and classic style so I can wear them anytime. I am normally a womens 9 in shoes and usually order 1/2 size larger in boots to allow for winter socks. I did order these in 9 1/2 and they are perfect with thin or thick socks. I would advise sizing up, but just by 1/2.

Having been in the trades for years, I have had to buy men's boots that weren't a great fit. These are very comfortable right out of the box. Minimal break in if any. These have adequate room in the toe box and good fit for the heel. Nicely made and like the neoprene back panel. The only small complaint I have is on the top of the boot in front where the seams come together creates a small bump that can irritate the front of your shin. I put a small piece of the fuzzy side of Velcro that gives just enough padding and solves the issue. A very nicely made, comfortable boot if you have to be on your feet all day.
