Carhartt Traditional Welt Work Boot - Men's

My husband LOVES these boots! He's tried tons of different brands and was skeptical at first, but once he put them on he was sold. He says they support the ankle, but don't have the annoying puff at the top. They support and cushioning. Bonus, I LOVE the way they look.

Took me awhile to find the only 6" work boot Carhartt still makes with the true welt and lugged sole. Put Snow deal on to protect the upper leather. Fits true and insoles have excellent arch support. Don't discontinue traditional welt construction! The glue on models don't last.

The bottom of the heel started to peel after two weeks of wearing them!

If these are what was actually ordered, then I've made a big mistake. I had hoped to get the plain toe, model CMW6190. I have recently sourced these elsewhere. The model received from you (CMW6197) is not at all what I wanted. If at all possible, I would like a refund. They are still in the boxes, unopened.

After wearing for one day the right boot has a click in heal of the sole. Very loud to walk on and annoying.

After having a fantastic experience with the light weight mix toe chukka I decided to try these needing something heavier duty. They are good but not great. They are comfortable but take a long time to break in. I bought these in the late fall when we had cold weather and didn't realize my biggest complaint until spring time?they are HOT my feet sweat like crazy wearing these all day and that's not normal for me. Unfortunately I will have to buy something else and will likely put these away until the seasons change again

well made. easily broken in. I've had mine for over three years and wear almost daily. Not used for work. Gardening, auto repair, hiking and general daily wear. I like the fact that I can replace the soles when the time comes.
