Nice shoes, but impossible to get on.

I've been looking for a lightweight shoe to wear when it's nice out. These Detroit Canvas Mid Slip On Sneakers look good in the black canvas, but like some of the other reviewers have said, they're impossible to get on. I ordered them in the same size as my Carhartt Moc Toe Wedge Boots that I'm currently wearing. I put my feet over top of the Detroit Canvas Mid Slip On Sneakers and could tell that the size was right, but for the life of me, I couldn't get either of my feet in them. The foot holes are just too small without much stretch. I pulled on the heel loop so much that I thought it might rip out. I ended up returning them.

Good looking shoe but leaves no room for a foot to wear it at the ankle leaves no room to slide down into them ! Sad I have tried everything

I really liked the shoes.. unfortunately I had to return them. They didn't fit.. When I pulled them out of the box I was like: Wow, look at these boats.. I usually take a size 7 (in other brands). A Carhartt size 7 is more like a size 8.5(in other brands). The only knock I have is that Carhartt needs to correct there sizing or offer smaller sizes.

Overall, these are a very comfortable and lightweight shoe that are great for everyday wear. They did take a few days to break in and loosen up after purchasing! My boyfriend loves wearing them to work everyday, and they are super easy to clean if needed. Would definitely purchase again.
