Look great, nice suede, very comfortable,size down

These are great looking shoes that you can wear to work or around town. The suede is nice, and the toe has a slightly darker burnished look that a lot of chukka boots have. The sole and midsole are very cushiony and light, which makes these shoes more comfortable than the typical chukka w/a more traditional sole. I typically wear a size 11.5 in shoes (Clarks, Forsake, Chaco) and a 12.0 in athletic shoes (Salomon, Nike, Hoka), and I had to size down to an 11.0 for the Born Theo. The size 11.5 was too long. The shoe narrows a bit toward the toe, which may be why the shoe is made longer than typical for a given size. Size down half a size, but only if your foot is average or narrower than average. If your foot is wide, don't size down.

These boots are truly perfect for the man who loves to be barefoot or on the beach. They are gorgeous leather and super lightweight. I'm told they are incredibly comfortable. I like the way they can be dressed up or down, and versatile.
