    Hard to get on

    I was looking for a water-resistant or waterproof boot and ordered these, the Trotters bootie, and the TOMS Bennet boots to try because they weren't available in store. I am nearly always a size 6 with the exception of two pair of sneakers that I bought in 6.5 over the years, so I ordered my usual size in medium width. I liked how the shoe looked, but they were hard to get on. When I was putting them on, I could feel the stitching on the inside of the shoe scrape against the top of my foot through the socks I was was wearing. Maybe that could be solved with thicker socks? Not sure if the rubbing would ruin the socks over time, though. This could be a personal issue, but the shoe also felt a bit heavy for me and a bit tight around the toe bone. I decided to return them. I ended up keeping the TOMS boots.

    Comfortable And Waterproof

    I bought these for versatile wearing for work or casual days, especially during rain or snow. I’m satisfied so far. My only issue is why do they come without a top on the box?? This isn’t the first time DSW has sent shoes without box tops. Makes me think they are seconds or something. For the price and excluded from promotions, at least send completely packaged.
