Awesome shoe but didn't last

I bought these shoes about a year and a half ago and wore them 5 times total. The cork sole completely cracked through about halfway down. I took them to the Birkenstock repair store, and the guy there said he's seen this several times with Papillio wedge sandals and it's unrepairable. He speculated that they had a bad batch of cork. I also have the brown ones, and they seem to be okay, but make sure you keep a close eye on the cork and keep your receipt if you bought them in the last year so you can possibly get them exchanged on warranty.

Worn twice a month for the last six months in an office setting. Relatively comfortable. A little rubbing on top of my foot. Very frustrated to find that the black bottom is already detaching.
Too much money for such poor quality.

I hemmed and hawed about buying these for over a year due to the price. But I am so glad I bought them! So so so comfortable for my high arches and plantar fasciitis, and I love that they are close toed so I can wear them to work!

I wore these shoes for the first time today. I was on my feet all day, and they were very comfortable. I got lots of compliments on them and think they’d go well with skirts or cropped pants/jeans. I’ve read other reviews about numb toes, but I didn’t experience this. I will say that by the end of the day, I could feel my pinky toes pressing against the sides of the shoes, but I’ve worn several pairs of Papillio shoes and know that they will stretch with wear. With that said, I wouldn’t recommend these shoes if you have wide feet. These were comfortable right out of the box and true to size.

I love these shoes…I have them in camel and now black. Perfect height and can wear them all day at my job where I am on my feet all day. Versatile enough to wear with jeans, trousers, skirts, or dresses!

Extremal comfortable. Was on my feet for 6 hrs. teaching and had now pain the first day I had them on! I was complimented all day!
