I bought this shoes online for Christmas , it was so embarrassing for me to watch the person open his gift and see that there were USED!!!! Unacceptable!! I paid 160 dollars for this!!

Too expensive, Birkenstock support lacking.

Not super comfortable and the heel came apart in about 8 months. Wrote to Birkenstock about it and received a bunch of suggestions for repair places. Initially they offered to consider to cover the cost of a repair. When I gave the information requested (receipt, pictures of broken heel, pictures of footbed and soles) they never responded with an offer of repair, just more suggestions of repair stores. These shoes are expensive, I've bought sneakers at 1/3 the cost that last at least a year. Sadly, I could just by 3 pairs with zero expectation of any support if they fall apart and get more use out of those. Finally I found a local cobbler who will repair the show so hopefully I can get more good use out of these before they completely fall apart. Pretty disapointing for a Birkenstock product since I have some original sandals I've been suing for about 25 years.

After less then 8 months the soles wore through. Never had this problem with other shoes. Birkenstock wouldn't do anything about it.

Expensive For A Gym Shoe….

I probably wouldn’t wear them to workout, but they’re great for business casual. Pretty comfortable out of the box, and they’ll likely become more comfortable after the cork footbed breaks in.
