Shoe does not look like picture.

I wanted to love this shoe but it is so cheaply made - on a couple of the sides of the shoe you can see the glue that is holding them together. The shearling fur looks nothing like the picture, it looks like matted down cheap material. The qualify of the Birkenstock shoe has gone way down high yet there price has gone up!

I have one other pair of Birks (without lining) and love them. I really love the lined Birks. The lining is so soft, cozy and comfortable! I bought the same size in both. I wear a size 7 and buy 38 in Birks. I highly recommend this sandal.

My First Pair

I’ve never owned a pair of Birkenstock, but thought I’d try them out because I’ve been suffering from plantar fasciitis and have read that they might be a possibility of relief. I chose the Arizona slide with furry footbed because they just looked comfy. My feet are very narrow and I had to buckle them up to the tightest notch. My size in normal shoes is 8.5, but I wear a 9 in Brooks and Hoka. The European size 39 fit me perfectly in the Birkenstock. My heel is still hurting but healing slowly and I can walk comfortably for a few hours in them. I will probably by another style next time. I would recommend them. They look cute with jeans or joggers.

These Are Terrible

I bought two pairs of these one for me and one for my adult daughter. She literally wore hers one day and the fur was all coming down separating from the shoe and it looked terrible. These were either a terrible idea for Birkenstock or just very poorly made.
