Great for orthotics!
Great for orthotics! My son requires a larger shoe to accommodate his orthotic braces. It is wonderful to be able to order them in wider sizes and these have been a staple in our house for several years. So happy to see DSW his now carrying BILLY.

Great pair for SMOs
We bought our 6yo daughter with down syndrome the size 12 extra wide to wear with her SMOs. They fit great with a little space to grow. We sized up from 11 to 12 because of the brace. She has not taken them off yet so that says a lot!

They didn’t last very long. Disappointed since they are one of the few shoes that work for my son and they aren’t cheap. The zipper came apart after only a month and we had to junk them.

Substantial
This shoe is very rigid, would support an orthopedic appliance. However, for our 3-yr. old's appliance to fit it's very heavy and cumbersome. Also more suitable for winter wear, will be too hot for summer.

Great Shoes!
My son is autistic and doesn’t like many shoes. He thinks these are the best comfy shoes he’s ever had. The zipper is easy to use. He has chunky and wide feet and these don’t bother him. Love it

Cute, functional, not very sturdy
My daughter LOVES these, however, she managed to break these within 2.5 weeks of wearing them. The zipper wraps around the front of the toe, which makes them super easy to put on, but she drags her toes and trips all the time, and she managed to break the zipper apart from the rest of the shoe right at the top of the toe. So, still would highly recommend, but maybe for kiddos who are a little more gentle on shoes. They don't hold up to rough play very well.
