Bellini Carson Bootie

I cannot believe they sent me this boot !!! You could obviously tell they had been worn as soon as i opened the box. The toe had been scuffed. The bottom of the boots definitely were scuffed. I was in shock! I ordered these online and took them immediately to my local DSW store. Hopefully they'll not put them back on the floor. I only wish I would have snapped a picture before I took them back. I was so angry and in disbelief. They were definitely cute boots and exactly what I was looking for when it came to color.

I got these in the black, after also having gotten them in the red. I opened up the box and immediately saw damage. Glue was spread on one of the booties and it was impossible to remove. In addition, there were bits of the suede missing from this same area... perhaps due to another customer or the warehouse trying to remove all of the glue. Also the zipper wasn't working. So I got a replacement and I was told to return the damaged pair... which will also be useless to a future customer. So I just got my replacement and checked it out. I tried them on and realized that the zipper on both of these weren't working, either. I somehow managed to get my feet out and wondered if the only way I could get in and out of them was while wearing no socks or, perhaps, just thin, smooth hosiery, being that the zippers that were raised wouldn't budge. After a bit of a struggle, I finally managed to open the zippers without damaging them and I now know that I cannot pull them all the way up next time. So I went back and checked out my red pair which I only tried on once. Those, too, had zippers that didn't budge and I had to work at them to pull them down. So this is a warning to anyone who wants to buy these booties. They're cute, yes, but be prepared to have a constant war with the zippers. Best bet is to only grab it from the front side and try to pull. Good luck. Worse zippers on any pair of booties I've ever worn in my life.

I don't know why they call this color, "red," since it's actually more of a dark, burnt orange. Still, it's a pretty color. These booties are true to size and very comfortable. Looks great with leggings and jeggings. I like it so much, I wouldn't mind getting it in other colors.
