Poor Quality
I bought the Pewter (metallic) in 2023. I wore them a handful of times and I today (April 25, 2024) the metallic overlay has flaked in several places. I do not work on a construction site or outside as a Parks and Recreation employee ! I work in a carpeted office. If I could give a negative stars rating I would. The fact they fit well and are comfortable means nothing due to the quality.

This shoe is NOT silver it is Pewter. DSW has the wrong description. Do not buy if looking for a silver shoe!

Nice Shoes, Poor Packaging
I would have liked to have been able to keep these shoes. They are a class design, and the pewter color really is fabulous! Unfortunately, they arrived slightly misshapen due to poor packaging. I’m assuming this was due to the holiday rush as this hasn’t been my experience with DSW. The box was crushed, and there was no protection or reinforcement for the shoes inside. I was sad to return.

The Pewter color really makes a statement!
This is the classic tassel loafer you've always known, and it's just right in the black (or other routine colors when available.) However, the Pewter color is an amazing step up to a bit more dressy for this time tested casual design. The Pewter color is a range of true metallic grays - an understated surprise element in an outfit. I wear 5.5W - rarely available - so 6M is what I generally have to order, and just hope my toes won't be squished. These shoes, in 6M, provide plenty of toe room even with socks, especially after they warm up a bit ~:-). I really wish the heel was half an inch taller but I'm just dreaming right now - the classic heel height is absolutely acceptable.

Cute and comfy!
I purchased the silver metallic after coming across online and hoped I’d actually like them in-person— I was pleased as soon as I opened the box! Fit was good and TTS (I have a couple other Bandolinos). Received several compliments on first wear.
