I really like the look of these shoes, but I think they'll only work for people with very narrow feet. I have narrow, boney feet (no fat or "padding") and these are quite tight on me, especially on the top of my foot where the elastic is. I usually wear an 8 in sneakers, but needed an 8.5 in this style. My hope is that the elastic will loosen a bit with wear, because they look really cute.

Really tried to like these but the opening at the ankle is tight and small. I have thin feet and ankles and an average instep but the elastic was digging into the front of my ankle on every step. Just not comfortable for a sneaker that’s supposed to be comfortable. Can’t even imagine someone with a high instep or thicker ankles liking these.
