Straps gave me blisters
Are they gorgeous? Yes! I absolutely loved them and found the nude color flattering to go with all of my summer outfits. Unfortunately, the strap that wraps your ankle rubs and pulls while you're walking and after wearing these 2-3 evenings in a row it cut into the spot where your achilles tendon is - and it hurt! I put a bandaid on it and tried to continue on but it was painful - so I realized I could just never wear these sandals again. Very unfortunate, because the design is so beautiful.

They look beautiful
The most uncomfortable sandals I own. I wore them on my beach vacation. Wrong! The most uncomfortable to walk in. The strap hurt horribly; every step I took cut into me. Maybe they'll work for you if you have ultra-thin feet.

Cute but narrow and uncomfortable

Cute But Short
These are really cute and comfortable sandals, but like some of the other reviews, the straps that goes around the ankle is very short. I couldn’t get it half way around. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.

Pretty But…
These Buenas Sandals by Steve Madden are gorgeous but better if you try them on first before buying or at home before the actual date you plan to wore them. The sole itself is better than other SM sandals because is very cushioned but the union of the front straps can feel somewhat uncomfortable in between your toes as you walk. Also the ankle straps are not consistent in length, I tried THREE different boxes in the same size and always had one foot with a strap that was way too short to even buckle (and I don’t have huge ankles/ calves). So I decided to try the next half size because they were too beautiful to leave them behind but then in the bigger size the front straps were hugely wide you could tell from an airplane they were not ideal, so sad the same uncomfortableness and uneven measurements in the quality of various SM sandals styles lately.

I’m so happy I purchased this sandal, they fit true to size and are very stylish and comfortable. If the would have came in other colors I would definitely purchase.
