Hiker
So far, so good. Haven’t worn these for a long rugged hike yet but they have been fine for the shorter trail walks that I have taken.

Too big
I wear an 8.5 in any other Salomon hiking shoe, I have tried an 8 and a 7.5 and I can still fit two fingers behind my heel in the 7.5 of this shoe.

DSW- What’s Going On….
These were delivered dirty and worn. I was shocked that the these would even be sent out. Customer service was to send a new pair and now that order has been cancelled. Pictures are right out of the box.

Great Trail Shoe
These are great trail shoes, comfortable just rugged enough to give good traction. They do run a solid half size large, I wear a 10 ordered a 9.5 and I still have enough room for thick socks

HORRIBLE
I bought these for Sedona and the Grand Canyon. So disappointed this is usually an excellent brand. Packed them for three trip and only hiked 7 miles and they are SPITTING APART! They are very comfortable but once again FALLING APART after only 7 miles. I’ll seriously reconsider ever buying from this brand again. Absolutely not acceptable.

Excellent shoe, perfect fit/ good support
I bought a pair of these to try out. I have gone through dozens of shoes in the past few months - from Brooks, Adidas, Asics, Nike, etc. From the cushiest to the most supportive and I had still not found the right blend until these. I have metatarsal issues and a bunion and every shoe I try eventually hurts my feet - even the cushiest shoes. While these are firmer / more supportive they still had that good "energy return" runners talk about (I am not a runner but I walk very fast with my dogs and sometimes break into a short jog). I did not find these ran any larger than any other 9 1/2 shoes. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and these fit great. So great that I have ordered a second pair.

Keepers!
I ordered these for my daughter, who is not a hiker but wanted shoes for hiking. The soles look like they have great traction. She said they ran a little big, but she decided to keep them anyway, and they have worked out well for her use.

Nice shoe
Ordered these for my daughter. She lives across the country so I haven't seen them. She said they are really nice. They do run a little big. She wears a 7.5 and wished it was a 7.

Great Service
Got my hiking shoes within days of ordering. I wore today for the first time. They’re very comfortable and plenty of cushion in the heel. Wearing my thick hiking socks with them feels like a good fit. Ordered my normal size.

Overall happy w the arch support
I decided to purchase Salomon AlphaCross 4 Hiking Shoe - Women's because Salomon is the only brand of sneakers my husband wears and he swears by them! I am overall happy with the pair of shoes. I initially purchased a 7 which is my typical size, but I had to exchange for a 6.5 instead. Although they are comfortable, I am accustomed to wearing Nikes and these do have more of a narrow feel to them. I do feel like these have better arch support.

They Run Very Big
Other than that they are very supportive and comfortable! Cushiony but not too much. Will probably buy a second pair before long so I can have a backup pair!
