What is DSW Rewards?

DSW Rewards is a free loyalty program that allows members to earn points with every purchase. Earn enough points and you'll get a DSW Rewards certificate for $10 off your next purchase in stores or online.

Do points ever expire?

Yes. Unredeemed points expire 24 months after they are earned. They will then be deducted from your balance. We will notify you by email prior to expiration.

  1. If you have an online account, please go to Your Account and log in. Once you're logged in, you'll find your Rewards number on the My DSW page.
  2. If you do not have an online account you can:
    1. Go to the Log In page and click, "Set up an online account" next to "Did you sign up for Rewards in store?"
    2. Then, click "Forgot it?" next to the DSW Rewards Member Number field, and enter your first name, last name, email address, phone, and address.
    3. If no match is found, call shoephoria! Center at 1.866.DSW.SHOES or visit a store and have an associate look up your account at the register.

  1. By creating an online account you can check your points balance as often as you'd like. Log in or create an account by going here.
  2. An associate at check out can tell you your current points balance.

How do I find out when I've earned a Rewards certificate? Back to top
  1. When you've earned a Rewards certificate, you'll be notified via email and/or text. If we don't have your email address or phone number, we'll notify you by mail.

    If you aren't receiving email or text notifications, make sure we've got the accurate email address or phone number, and that you're opted in to receive Rewards alerts. If you aren't receiving a notification in the mail either, make sure that we’ve got the accurate mailing address. To update your info, just log in to DSW Rewards or call shoephoria! Center at 1.866.DSW.SHOES.

    Remember, no code or paper is necessary to redeem a certificate. Just have a cashier apply it in stores (just give him or her your Rewards number first!), or log in and apply it at online checkout.
  2. If you're a Premier member and you aren't receiving notifications about certificates, check to see if points banking is turned on. If so, it tell us that you want to be in charge of when you receive certificates. If you turn it off, you’ll automatically have access to certificates when you’ve earned them. .
Once I've earned enough points, how long will it take to receive my Rewards certificate? Back to top
Rewards certificates are issued weekly. When the certificates are credited to your account, you'll receive an email notification if we have your email address, and we'll remind you before it expires.
When is my certificate available? Back to top
If we have your contact info, you'll receive a notification when your certificate is available, by email, mail, and/or text. Plus, you can see your available certificates any time by logging in to DSW Rewards!

Remember, no code or paper is necessary to redeem a certificate. Just have a cashier apply it in stores (just give him or her your Rewards number first!), or log in and apply it at online checkout.
Can you reissue my lost/expired certificate? Back to top
As a service to our Rewards members, we offer a one-time exception if you accidentally let your certificate expire. Please call shoephoria! Center at 1.866.DSW.SHOES or Premier Priority at 1.800.306.4217 to have it reissued.

How can I become a DSW Rewards Premier member?

DSW Rewards members who earn 6,000 qualifying points by spending $600 in a calendar year (between January 1 and December 31) qualify for DSW Rewards Premier.
What is the difference between base, qualifying, and bonus points? Back to top
  • Base points: Every 10 points per dollar spent at DSW. They count towards earning certificates.
  • Qualifying points: Points that qualify you for Premier status. Spend $600 (6,000 points) in one calendar year to qualify for Premier status. Qualifying points expire at the end of the calendar year (December 31st).
  • Bonus points: Bonus points are any points earned above your base points (for example, points earned during points promotions) and only count towards earning certificates. They do not count towards qualifying points.
When I exchange or return my purchase, do I get my certificate back? Back to top
If you're exchanging the item the same day that your certificate was applied, it is still valid for the item you're exchanging for.

Points will be credited back to your Rewards account for all returns. If returning multiple items, the point value associated with each item will be credited separately to your account. You will see the points in your Rewards account within 5-7 business days.
