What is DSW RewardsŪ?
DSW RewardsŪ is a free loyalty program that allows members to earn points with purchases. Earn enough points and you'll get a $10 DSW RewardsŪ certificate of savings that can be applied to your next purchase.

How do I earn points?
  • Earn base points by making purchases in stores and online

Base Points
You'll earn 10 base points per dollar spent on regularly priced merchandise, and 5 base points per dollar on clearance merchandise. (Because our clearance merchandise is already deeply discounted, we are only able to offer five base points per dollar.)
  • A $10 Rewards certificate is issued when you reach 1500 points.
  • Earn membership in DSW Premier RewardsŪ when you earn 6000 qualifying points in a single calendar year.

Bonus Points
Bonus Points are member extras that can help you earn Rewards certificates faster. You will be notified by email of these events. Bonus Points do not count toward qualification for membership in DSW Premier RewardsŪ.

Double Points
If you tell us your email address, we'll notify you of Double Points events, an opportunity to earn 10 base points + 10 bonus points to the dollar on regularly priced merchandise, and 5 base points + 5 bonus points to the dollar on clearance items.

Here's a regular price example of how it works:
  • Buy a shoe for $49.95 x 10 base points = 500 points
  • Multiply the total by 2 (double points) and you earn 1000 points!

There are two Double Points events per calendar year. You can make purchases (and earn Double Points) as many times as you wish during the promotion period.

Bonus points earned during double points do not count toward qualification for membership in DSW Premier RewardsŪ.
What are qualifying points?
Qualifying points are the base points earned on every purchase. They're valid from January 1 through December 31 and do not roll over year to year. When you earn 6000 qualifying points in a single calendar year, you will reach DSW Premier RewardsŪ membership status.
What kind of points do I need to earn DSW RewardsŪ certificates?
Base and bonus points are counted toward Rewards certificates. However, only base points are counted toward qualification for membership in DSW Premier RewardsŪ.
What happens to any points left over after a Rewards certificate has been earned?
These are the first points counted toward your next $10 Rewards certificate.
How can I be sure I'm getting points for my purchases in stores?
Online: Link your DSW RewardsŪ member number to your dsw.com account just once, and you'll never need to worry about it again. Link your account now.

Then whenever you shop dsw.com, just log in and you'll earn Rewards points with your online purchase.

In DSW stores: There are two easy options for ensuring you earn points.
  • If you have a DSW RewardsŪ membership card, you can show it to the cashier.
  • Tell the cashier your telephone number or mailing address, and he or she can look it up. (This option requires that you have provided a telephone number or mailing address in association with your membership. If you need to add one, click here.)
How soon after my purchase are points added to my balance?
For in-store purchases, points will be applied within 24 hours. For online purchases, points are not applied until your order has been shipped. Bonus points can take 2-3 weeks to be applied to your balance.
What if I think there's been a mistake with my points balance?
First, make sure you've waited long enough. It can take several days for points to show up in your balance. Then, contact Customer Service about any mistakes in your balance.
What happens to my points if I return merchandise?
The point value of your return is deducted from your balance.
Can I save my points instead of receiving a Rewards certificate every time I get to 1500?
This is only possible if you're a DSW Premier RewardsŪ member. Learn more about DSW Premier RewardsŪ.
Do I earn points when I redeem Rewards certificates?
You'll earn points on every dollar you spend that exceeds the certificate value (excluding tax). Your certificate savings do not earn points.
Do points ever expire?
Yes. Unredeemed points expire 24 months after they are earned. They will then be deducted from your balance. We will notify you by email prior to expiration. You can add your email address to your account by clicking here.
Do I earn points on tax, shipping, or shopping services such as gift wrap?
Sorry, no.
Do I earn points for the purchase of DSW Gift Cards or DSW e-Gift Cards?
No. When you buy a DSW Gift Card or e-Gift Card, you are converting your money into "store cash" for someone else to spend. If the recipient of the gift is a DSW RewardsŪ member, that person will earn points when redeeming the card. It's like two gifts in one!
Can I still earn points if I made a store purchase without identifying myself as a DSW RewardsŪ member?
Sure! Log in to your DSW RewardsŪ membership online, have your receipt handy and follow these simple steps:
  • Once you are logged in, click the "DSW Rewards" tab on your account page.
  • Click "Request a Points Adjustment".
  • Fill out the form with your purchase subtotal and the barcode number from the bottom of your store receipt.
  • Click "Submit".

Please call Customer Service at 1.866.DSW.SHOES (1.866.379.7463) to request a points adjustment for online purchases. All points adjustments must be made within 90 days of the original purchase date.

*Special note to customers who shop in Dublin, OH: In this store, DSW shares space with Filene's Basement. If you shopped at this store, purchased DSW merchandise, and need a points adjustment, do not use the online form on this website. Please fax your receipt, your 12-digit member number, and your email address (if you'd like confirmation) to Customer Service at 614.947.4721. If you need assistance, please contact Customer Service at 1.866.DSW.SHOES (1.866.379.7463). Your points adjustment will be made within two business days. Please note that Filene's Basement merchandise is not eligible for DSW RewardsŪ points.

How many points do I need to earn a $10 Rewards certificate?
1500.
What kind of points do I need to earn Rewards certificates?
Base and bonus points are counted toward Rewards certificates.
Is a minimum purchase required with a Rewards certificate?
Yes. The minimum purchase is the face value of the certificate. If you use a Rewards certificate toward a purchase amount that is less than the value of the certificate, you will lose the remaining value (as described on the certificate). Rewards certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.
Do Rewards certificates expire?
Yes. Rewards certificates are valid for 180 days. After that, they are no longer valid and the cashier cannot accept them. You'll find the expiration date printed right on the certificate.
After I've earned enough points, how long will it take to receive my Rewards certificate?
Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
I have more than one Rewards certificate. Can I combine them?
Yes. You may combine up to 3 Rewards certificates in a single purchase.
My Rewards certificate has been lost, stolen or expired. Can you replace it?
Sorry, no. Rewards certificates are like cash. Don't lose them!

Is there a minimum age to be a member?
You must be at least 13 years of age to be a DSW RewardsŪ member.
Can I give my points to another person?
Unfortunately, no.
I have more than one membership. Can I combine them?
Sorry, no.
Can I use my DSW RewardsŪ membership to buy shoes at DSW for resale?
No. DSW RewardsŪ was created to reward customers who buy for personal use. Reselling in any way is against the Terms and Conditions you agree to when you first sign up.
Do I have to carry a card?
No. DSW RewardsŪ is a card-free program. You don't need a membership card to shop online or in DSW stores–but you do need to identify yourself as a DSW RewardsŪ member to ensure that you earn Rewards points when you shop.

Can I carry a card if I want to?
Yes. You can order one. A membership card gives you easy access to your 12-digit DSW RewardsŪ member number any time you need it.
  • First, log in.
  • Click on the "DSW Rewards" tab near the top of the page.
  • Click on the "Request A Card" link.
I am a DSW Premier RewardsŪ member. Do I have to carry my personalized card?
No. Your member number has not changed, so you don't have to change the way you make purchases.
How do I cancel my membership?
Please contact Customer Service to unsubscribe.

 DSW RewardsŪ and Your dsw.com Account
If I have a dsw.com account, does that mean I automatically have a DSW RewardsŪ membership?
No. If you already have a dsw.com account, you still need to sign up for DSW RewardsŪ. Just follow the simple steps below to sign up:
  • Log in to your dsw.com account and select the DSW RewardsŪ tab at the top of the page.
  • Click the "Sign Up Today" button.
  • Fill out the form.
  • Click "Create Account".

That's it! Now you're all set to enjoy fantastic benefits as a DSW RewardsŪ member and to start earning Rewards points on your purchases!
I am a DSW RewardsŪ member, how can I get points for my online purchases?
Link your DSW RewardsŪ membership to your dsw.com account to earn Rewards points on online purchases.

  • On the Log In page, select the "Yes, I am already a DSW RewardsŪ member" button.
  • Enter your DSW Reward member number in the box.
  • Click Continue.

I am a DSW RewardsŪ member, but need to create a dsw.com account
  • Log in to your account and select the DSW RewardsŪ tab at the top of the page.
  • On the right hand side of the Rewards page, add your DSW RewardsŪ member number.
  • Click the "Register" button.
Do I have to log in when I'm shopping online?
If you want to access your membership information, see special offers on screen, and receive Rewards points for your purchases, you must log in.
What do I need in order to log in?
You will need your 12-digit member number to log in for the first time. You'll find it on your enrollment form or on your membership card.

If you are not sure of your member number, you can look for it online. Just go to the DSW RewardsŪ page and click the "Help me find my DSW RewardsŪ member number" link at the bottom of the log in area. Complete the form that follows and you'll have your member number in no time!
Why does DSW want my email address?
There are many benefits of membership available only by email. For example, we can send you special offers, let you know when you've earned Rewards certificates, and tell you about Double Points events. You can view or update your email in your profile by logging in here.
Why does DSW want my home address?
This is the only way to receive your Rewards certificates. You can view or update your address in your profile by logging in.

 DSW Premier RewardsŪ
What is DSW Premier RewardsŪ?
For our most loyal customers, Premier RewardsŪ makes it possible to earn points much faster than with basic membership.
  • Premier Bonus Points: earn 50% more points with every purchase.
  • Premier Choice Cards: two cards get you one Triple Points day every six months so you can really let the points pile up.
  • Premier Priority Attention gives you our best level of customer service.
How can I become a DSW Premier RewardsŪ member?
DSW RewardsŪ members who earn 6000 qualifying points in a calendar year (between January 1 and December 31) will qualify for DSW Premier RewardsŪ.
How do I know if I'm close to earning membership in DSW Premier RewardsŪ?
Log in to access your membership information to see how many qualifying points you've earned.
Once I've qualified, how quickly do I begin receiving Premier benefits?
Just one shopping day after you qualify, you'll receive your benefits on purchases made with your membership. For in-store purchases, please allow 24 hours for points to be posted on your Points History page. For online purchases, the points will be posted once your dsw.com order has been shipped.
How long will I have DSW Premier RewardsŪ benefits?
Your DSW Premier RewardsŪ benefits will last from your qualifying date through the end of the following calendar year.
What are Premier Bonus Points?
Premier Bonus Points earn you an extra 50% more points per dollar than basic membership. This means you earn 15 points per dollar on regularly priced merchandise and 7.5 points per dollar on clearance merchandise.
How many points will I earn per dollar on Triple Points days?
On regularly priced purchases, you will earn 35 points per dollar: 10 base points per dollar x 3 (for triple points) + 5 Premier Bonus Points.

On clearance-priced merchandise, you will earn 17.5 points per dollar: 5 base points x 3 (for triple points) + 2.5 Premier Bonus Points.
Do you count extras, such as Premier Bonus Points and Triple Points, toward DSW Premier RewardsŪ membership?
No. Only base points are counted toward DSW Premier RewardsŪ membership. We want the process to be equal for everyone, regardless of current status. But you will find that you accumulate points to Rewards certificates much, much faster.
What's so special about Premier Priority Attention?
If you've reached the Premier RewardsŪ level, you're clearly one of our best customers. So we've reserved a special email address and phone number just for customers like you. If you need us, you can reach us quickly and receive a personal response.
What are Premier Choice cards?
As a Premier Rewards member, you'll receive two Triple Points days per calendar year. (You'll get 1 or 2 cards total, depending on when you reach Premier status.) Premier Choice cards are what you use to earn Triple Points on your purchase during the Triple Points promotion. Each Premier Choice card is valid for six months (redeemable during the date range printed on each card; January–June and July–December), so you'll have plenty of time to choose which day to earn Triple Points. You will receive new Premier Choice cards each year you qualify for DSW Premier RewardsŪ. Premier Choice cards cannot be redeemed at our location in Dublin, OH.
Can Premier Choice Cards be redeemed any day I choose?
Not quite. Premier Choice cards must be used during the date range printed on each card. In addition, cards cannot be redeemed during bonus points events.
Can I save up points instead of receiving a Rewards certificate every time I get to 1500 points?
Yes. As a DSW Premier RewardsŪ member, you can elect a DSW Premier RewardsŪ benefit called Points Banking. To get more information and to set up Points Banking, log in and follow the on-screen instructions.
Why do I have a personalized DSW Premier RewardsŪ card?
This card is a way of recognizing your special status; your member number stays the same.
