Needs a little breaking in

Had to buy the shoe in my favorite color (Wine). Great sneaker but needs a little breaking in.

The Elevation is my fifth pair of Ryka’s. I love, love, love them. In the past I’ve only purchased the Devotion Ryka’s .I put them on and no break in required. I bought a size 8 wide like I did the devotions. The Elevation hurt my feet so bad I can hardly walk after a full day of wearing them. I walk as many as 15,000 steps a day while working and the Ryka’s haven’t let me down until I purchased the Elevations. I hate having to make this negative review.

A very disappointing Ryka

This new style is a half-size small, like the other review stated. I ordered a 7.5 instead of my usual 7 and it fit in length. But this shoe is barely wide enough in the Wide width. It's new cushion is hard, not like Rezorb. Barely any flexibility, too. And the new arch inserts that Ryka's using are awful! Couldn't stand the discomfort after 5 steps! Feels totally like you're walking with a golf ball under your arches, and it's in the wrong position. Immense pressure at the back of the arch/heel front. It's true to size, tho.

Small to size

I have 3 other pair of Ryka"s and they are all true to size, so I was surprised when these were too small.
I had to order a half size up, and they feel slightly wider as well, but still comfortable.
