The reason why I gave this cup of tea and not a five is because they don’t know how to powder coat their cups. I bought this for my son. It says it’s dishwasher safe top shelf. I put it through the dishwasher and the cup turned colors. So instead of being the salt dark right it’s got light red circle spots all over it now. It’s not currently bubbled right now and there has not peeled yet, but it’s still shouldn’t have turned colors the very first time it was washed. I’m going to say that all the cops like this that have a shiny powder coat are going to end up like this. I purchased a Dino cup for my other child and that one does just fine. It’s a nice cup because you can have it right handed or left-handed. The straw does seal all the way down and it does not leak. It has a nice hard plastic straw that goes right up into the rubber gasket inside the lid it’s all very convenient but consider considering that this cup is $35 and the very first time I washed it. It turned like that on the entire cup with all those spots and discoloration. I would say don’t buy this one or any of the cups that are just plain shiny colors.
