Bought for my husband, rarely does he shop but came to DSW with me to browse. Found these and he absolutely loves them. No break in needed. Starting wearing immediately and has said nothing but how comfortable and great in the elements they are. Takes long walks with the dogs, no problem

My husband’s feet are hard to fit and shoes are rarely comfortable. He has enjoyed these straight out of the box. One thing that he noticed that was different about these shoes (he got the wide ones) is that the base of the shoe is also wide, not just the top part. Other brands sometimes say “wide” but that is only the top part, the base of the shoe is still regular and so the toes and part of the foot hang off the base inside the shoe causing foot problems over time or simply continuous discomfort. This is why he likes these shoes!

Awful; garbage boots

These boots are awful. They're garbage. My husband usually buys Merrell brand, but the store didn't have them so he bought these. In less than 3 weeks, they were falling apart. The store agreed to exchange them for a new pair after looking up his purchase. That was two months ago and the new pair have been ripped to shreds. CRAPPY QUALITY. WASTE OF MONEY. We would've been better ordering the Merrell brand online and waiting for delivery.

I bought this Red Lodge Mid Hiking Boot to wear as a daily walk around and work boot. It's a very comfortable light weight boot. Looks great and was priced well. Quality appears to be solid. So far, I'm happy with this purchase!

Bought to walk 75 miles in 7 days. So glad I wore these shoes, they were comfortable, no blisters and held up perfectly in the rain. I recommend these for women even though I got them in the men’s department.
