"These are comfortable and they are wide calf but honestly don't look oversized at all. They look like a high end riding boot and the hardware does not look cheap."

"Loovvee these boots! I bought the brown ones a few months ago after weeks of searching for the perfect pair of boots and I do not regret it, I loved them so much that I bough the black ones as well. They do need to be broken in before wearing them out because they do hurt but after they are broken in they are very comfortable and I can wear them for almost all day before they start hurting my feet. I tried on the regular ones in store but they didn't fit my calfs so I went with the wide calf boots. My calfs measure 15 in a half inches around the widest part and these fit perfect, I can even tuck my jeans in and still be comfortable. I wear them pretty regularly and they still look great."

Attention Large Calved Ladies!
"Alright so here's the deal. These boots are great. But don't expect them to be super comfy on the first and second wear. These babies gotta be broken in! Here's some advice:The actual shoe portion of the boot WILL be tight. Wearing them will help loosen up the material. The boot shaft will also be tight. I discovered that by unzipping the boot and gently but consistently stretching the elastic inserts on both sides of the leather helps to open up the shaft a little more. However the shaft is still going to be about 15.5 circumference as advertised. So if your calves are bigger than that unfortunately no amount of stretching will bring them to a bigger circumference. This also means that standard jeans won't tuck in these, so you're limited to leggings.Aside from this these are great boots. The chain detail that wraps around the heel adds a nice decorative touch. Overall a very sophisticated boot!"
