"Boots are easy to get on and off, have adjustable strap to tighten or loosen at ankle. Can wear with pants in boots or out. Very versatile. Will keep your foot dry in rain and snow."

"I love the quality of the leather on this boot and I never could have paid a better price. I am not particularly crazy about the way the boot turns up at the toe."

Sorel Rain/Winter boot
"Overall material is great and I can tell it will be durable. I do wish it was easier to slide on. Pull straps at the top would have helped- I use a shoe horn."

Not exactly "snow" boots but still hard to resist
"These boots are really cute, but I definitely wouldn't go so far as to call them "snow boots". They're waterproof & have good traction, but the "knit lining" is only what you'd expect to find in your typical year-round rain boots. Also, the shorter shaft of the boot combined with the gaped opening at the top doesn't seem likely to keep the snow out. (The strap does allow you to cinch the top opening a little, but not completely.)Typically, I have to go up a size in Sorel boots, so I ordered an 11; but I definitely could have gotten away with my standard size 10 in these, probably due to the lack of the thicker lining in other Sorel winter/snow boots. However, since I will probably still try to get away with wearing these in the snow, the larger size will at least accommodate the extra-thick socks I'll need to guarantee my feet stay warm and dry.I'm rating these only 3 stars because they really weren't what I was expecting in a "snow" boot. To this degree, I feel like I just got a pair of expensive rain boots. However, they look so stylish with skinny jeans and are so well-constructed that I will probably keep them anyway."
