Solid Winter Boot
"I'm very impressed with this boot. While it does run small, it's definitely a solid winter boot. Living in Michigan it is a necessity for survival to have a warm, waterproof, well-built, comfortable winter boot. Sorel has definitely provided it! I will forewarn that it is a little chunky, but when it comes to keeping your toes on your feet one must make small sacrifices. At least this boot is still quite cute in the gray/purple, as far as winter boots go anyway."

"I am very excited about this new winter boot! I recently moved to Montana and my poor feet were FROZEN last winter; so I'm clearly trying to stay ahead of the winter with this purchase!Originally I ordered an 8 because I was told that Sorrel's typically run big (I wear an 8.5 on a consistent basis), the 8's did fit, but I decided that to be able to wear a thicker, warmer sock a 9 would be more desirable. The exchange process was seamless and I'm very happy with the size 9 boot. Many of the reviews say that the boot looks huge...well I say, what the heck did you expect? It's a snow boot! It's perfect! The purple, gray/green color scheme is awesome!I'm in love."

"Wow! These boots are awesome! They're heavy and perfect for cold weather and snow but also stylish and so cute in the purple color! I loved these boots except for one thing.. they are so incredibly difficult to get on (and off)! There's a band around the ankle-which in theory is wonderful to keep snow out from coming in and soaking your socks & feet- that makes it impossible to get your foot in. I loosened the laces to the point of coming undone for the top two grommets and it was still difficult to get my foot in, and this was while in bare feet, I can't imagine what it would be like with socks. Once I finally got them on, they were comfortable and fit will in the foot. If I did more outside in the winter & snow I would keep these for the quality and warmth, however for my use its not worth keeping them when it would take so long to put them on and pull off each time."
