Great Walking shoes
"These Ryka shoes were great for walking. I put them on the very first day and walked an hour with no problems or pain. They fit perfect the first time I wore them. I even went back to buy a different color to keep at work. I would recommend them for any walker who wants a comfortable sturdy shoe that have a reasonable price."

Love the Style - Hate the Fit
"I have a love/hate relationship with this shoe...LOVE: The style and color of the shoe. Never seen a walking shoe with this particular combination of colors: Brown, Taupe, Cream and Teal. Its simple lines and low-key vibe really appealed to me. Also, the lightness of the shoe is remarkable. It doesn't feel like so many other of those plodding/clodding athletic shoes. It is nimble and light. I love that, too!But...HATE: The fit of the shoe...over time! It just seems like the longer I have worn the shoe, the more uncomfortable it has become. I am a first-time buyer of the Ryka brand, and so am unfamiliar with any vagaries/tips/tricks connected to the brand's fit. I just tried it on in the store in my usual size for walkers. It seemed to work, at least while I was test-walking in the aisles, but since I've brought the shoe home and have worn it regularly now, I have noticed that my toes are frequently jammed together too much in the toe box, even when I loosen the laces a bit to give them some more room. And all that jamming causes some weird things to happen with my gait...so by the end of the day, I feel like I wanna rip these things off my sore feet and throw them at the wall!I did say love/hate, right? ;-)Anyway, my recommendation would be to try at least a half-size larger with this shoe (in proper walking shoe socks, not the disposable nylon footies supplied at the store) than you would normally wear and be sure to save your receipt. (Wish I had done both...) Because if these things are as cruel to your feet as they have been to mine, you may opt to do the sensible thing and simply give up and return them."

Horrible and Uncomfortable
"This was my first time purchasing a Ryka product, but while browsing the store I found the shoe looked nice and felt comfortable IN STORE. However, upon walking anywhere between 1-5 miles in these shoes on three separate occasions, my feet had horrible blisters and were burning and stinging in pain. I had originally bought these shoes with the intention that I would be walking in them around my neighborhood to lose weight for my upcoming wedding, however I can not even walk around the block without coming home and changing into sandals. I will not ever purchase a Ryka product again as I am completely dissatisfied and have wasted my money on this product. NOT RECOMMENDED!!"

Falling apart
"These are only 1 month old and already falling apart. I wear them 5 days a week for work, just walking normally and the stitching on the toe is coming out."
