"I have had a very difficult time finding boots that fit my wide calves. I ordered these as an early birthday present to myself and am extremely happy with them! The zipper on the right boot is a little difficult to zip, but I am able to pull the boot up over my calf or unzip the boot if needed. These were a great buy, I love them!"

Decent Everyday Boot
"Here's the good, bad, and the ugly on this boot. First, I have about a 15-1/2 inch calf. I bought wide width, and they are definitely wide enough. They will stay up with pants and have plenty of room for tucking in jeans. This is good. If I wore them all day with a dress, I'm not sure if they would stay up. Probably, but not sure. If you have calves smaller than mine, I think you'd have problems. Next, the boot is sort of a "distressed black" - kind of a grayish black color. It's very obviously not real leather, and it looks a little plasticy. That's ok, I knew that going in. They are a cheap, faux leather boot, afterall. There's not much cushioning in the footbed...like none at all....but they aren't uncomfortable. The low heel makes them walkable. Toe area is a bit narrow, but not bad. (Note, I have a pretty narrow foot.) The quilted detail in the back gives them a kind of cool "motorcycle boot" feeling, and I like that. I have dressier boots - this is definitely more casual. The bad news? The zipper in the back is IMPOSSIBLE. They arrived with the zipper down and I struggled to get it up. NOT easy! Had to zip them off my foot and hope I could slide my leg in. I can, so it's ok, but I will never unzip them again! If you are relying on using the zipper, I see a problem in your future! Overall, it's a "you get what you pay for" boot. I didn't want something expensive, knew I wasn't getting real leather, and wanted to tuck pants in, so this works for me. I will likely keep them."
