*Your pronation type is determined by the natural motion your feet apply throughout your running gait. When you pronate your foot rolls from either the outer edge, inner edge or not at all. If your foot rolls to the outer edge when you run, you are an underpronator, if it rolls to the inner edge you are a overpronator and if your foot doesn't roll at all you are a neutral or stable runner.

good support
"I'm more than a mild pronator and my knees show it. These don't have as much arch support and correction as one (discontinued) running shoe did, but it's enough for most use. I've been on the trail twice and the treadmill a couple of times and my knees weren't hurting. I don't do high miles, so these should be fine and they're definitely better than a neutral shoe for me. The color of them is ok as it won't show dirt easily, but they look more functional than cool to me (I'm old school and prefer bland to showy)."
